PLEASE NOTE

The Self-Service application is back online, effective from 21 June 2024. Please also note that the content of this email will be shared with GEPF members and stakeholders. The current Self-Service application provides security measures that protect members information from any cyber-attack or intrusion. These measures are critical for the GEPF and also for members as cyber-crime has increased significantly in recent years, where cyber criminals create strategies and means to unlawfully solicit and utilise individual private information.

members are required to change their password, through the Self-Service profile. This measure has been introduced to reconfirm that members accessing their information are the right members and their password has not been compromised.

The Self-Service profile can also be accessed through the GEPF Self-Service app and the web application through the GEPF website. GEPF urges its members to be cautious and not share their password with any third party. Passwords should be protected at all times. Members are further discouraged from allowing their devices to save their passwords, unless the device has other security features to validate the user. Importantly, members are discouraged from accessing the app by connecting to it via any public Wi-Fi as this poses a threat and risk to cyberattacks.

Members are urged to always ensure that they have logged out of the Self-Service application or web as cyber criminals use these loopholes to unethically and unlawfully access data.

Please email enquiries@gepf.co.za for further enquiries.

YOUR PASSWORD

Your password should be a minimum of 8 characters which also includes the following:
